I present to you a new kind of music: "mashed 'n gashed"

This was definitely inspired by my youth. Summer days as a kid going into middle school were spent listening to mashups and discovering electronic music & remix culture. My first venture into the world of making music was rearranging Nine Inch Nails stems in Garageband and using some free audio editing programs to slow down Aphex Twin tracks.

This is my digital, sludgy ode to mashup music and chopped & screwed. Basically I took songs from my personal music library, mashed them up, slowed them the fuck down and chopped them a lil bit. There's also a touch of distortion and bitcrushing to make it sound more nasty.

Obviously this is dedicated to the originator, the one and only DJ Screw.

Blast this shit as you ride around town in yo whip on a wet, humid and dreary Houston day.
