I recently returned from a weekend getaway to Las Vegas. What was supposed to be a short, fun trip ended up being an emotionally devastating one due to the fact I had to spend it with an ex-lover.

The material here reflects on the dissolution of the relationship I once had with this person and the many feelings that arose from having to be in such close proximity to a former partner while grappling with the heartache of it all. Unwanted, lonely & regretful in an unfamiliar place.

Despite the mental anguish of it all, this record still seeks to find solace and healing within the torment. The working title for this album was "A Process" and that's just the reality of life at the end of the day: it's all a process and we heal at our own pace, one step at a time. Here's to letting those wounds heal.
