As the end of winter soon approaches and the beginning of spring nears, I bring you "The Trails".

(I had no idea the country including my neck of the woods would be experiencing a historic widespread winter storm when I picked this release date, but here we are lol)

"The Trails" is a collection of more ambient explorations and endeavors. While the cold wintry atmospheres of my previous record "Sylvan Repose" reprise their roles on this album, they are now intertwined with organic textures. To capture the change of the seasons, these sonic experiments have a new warmth to them thanks to the lovely sounds of warbling analog tape hiss and its wear and tear, vinyl crackle, nature recordings, decayed withering samples and guitars washed out in many effects.

"The Trails" is an ode to winter's last days and the seasonal transitions we inevitably go through. Enjoy winter's final breath before the warmth returns. And once winter has left, we shall embrace spring and it's warmth. From this warmth the trees will grow their bountiful leaves and the flowers will bloom immensely. And maybe we will grow and bloom along with them as well.
